Principle of Reclamation

Rotary reclaimer can be adjusted within the wide range from strong recycling and soft recycling. There basically exist 2 kinds of recycling, A and B, which can be adjusted in their strength respectively.
A-REC (Hard Reclaiming)
Recycling A is a recycling method by friction between sand layers. It is recycled by the friction between the sand layer sticked to the rotating drum and the sand layer being accumulated by transporting sand into the space between the rotary drum and enclosing shelf, however, the friction force becomes very strong since the weight of sand being accumulated is added to the friction surface.
B-REC (Soft Reclaiming)
Recycling B is a recycling method by the friction between particles of sand pouring toward the sand layer sticked to the inside of drum without transporting sand, and by the shock during the collision of the sand flying from the drum and the sand remaining in the shelf.

In both method of recycling, A and B, fine powder is filtered out by the wind forcibly made by emitting flow of air from the fan hanging under the drum. Rotary reclaimer normally recycles by accumulating 2 ~ 4 layers, however, it is possible to recycle in the most appropriate way using mixed method with the above A and B.
